Reserving a puppy
If you see a puppy you want but the puppy is not yet ready to join his/her new family a deposit can be placed to ensure your puppy is reserved until pick up day. A deposit of $500 is required to reserve a puppy. Once reserved we will continue to post updated pictures so you can watch your puppy grow. You’re welcome to call or message us to check in on your puppy. We will keep you updated on all of your puppies big milestones as well as vet check-ups.
The deposit is nonrefundable unless the puppy you’ve chosen has a health concern at their vet check-up. If a health concern does arise we will contact you to discuss the health finding. You will then have the option to continue with the puppy purchase, choose another available puppy, or get a full refund of the deposit. The deposit will go towards the total cost of the puppy.
If the puppy you’ve chosen is already old enough to join his/her new family no deposit will be required unless the puppy needs to be held prior to being picked up. Puppies are usually ready to go to their new homes at 8 weeks of age.
Payment options
Deposits and payment can be made with cash or through a payment app like Zelle, Venmo, or Cash App. Full payment must be made before or at pick-up.
What’s included
Our puppies are examined by a licensed veterinarian prior to going to their new homes. They are current on age appropriate vaccines, which are given by a licensed veterinarian. A fecal test is done to check for intestinal parasites and worms. They will be dewormed as recommended by our veterinarian. Each puppy will be microchipped prior to leaving. All of our puppies are AKC registrable.
Each puppy is sent home with a puppy pack that includes a toy with their mother’s scent on it, a sample of their food, and a packet containing their vet health report, vaccine history, deworming schedule, AKC registration papers, microchip registration information, pet health insurance information, and a birth certificate.
When you purchase a puppy from Southern Charm Bulldogs you become part of our Southern Charm family. We offer lifetime breeder support for all of our puppy parents.

What is limited AKC
Our puppies are sold as companion pets. Meaning they are not being purchased with the intention to breed them. Their registration is limited meaning puppies produced by the dog with limited registration can’t be registered with AKC. Your puppy will be registered with AKC and will receive an AKC certificate and pedigree once you register them.
We do sell puppies with full AKC registration and breeding rights on occasion. If you are interested in a puppy with breeding rights send us a message and we can discuss this option. We do require breeding mentorship with all puppies sold with full AKC.
